Election Day
Today is the first day I have ever voted in a General Election where I did not have work to do for a campaign afterwards. It has been a little bit of an emotional day so far for me not being involved. My friends have invited me to all the parties tonight but I am going to pass on them. I am going to meet with Leslie to work on stuff with our link group then I’ll just watch the results come in. I will stay up to see who wins and I am looking forward to some time during it to reflect on how God has changed my life for the better. This use to be the day I came alive and was at my best and it is a good feeling to know that I can be that way everyday because of Him living in me.
I know I still have growing to do with my faith but I am looking forward to it and I think today is just one of those days that I have to go through to grow stronger in my relationship with God so when I think about it that way the day while still emotional makes me happy as well.
